In this wonderful location you are really spoilt for choice for things to do.  Apart from exploring or lazing around the stunning coves and beaches, here are just a few suggestions.

Theatre
Just a mile by foot, an evening amble to the famous Minack Open Air Theatre is a must.  The Minack is open from April to the end of September.   It is also open during the day for visitors to walk around and enjoy snacks from the theatre café.  Truly an experience not to be missed!!

Gardens & Properties
There are many beautiful gardens and historic properties to explore.  Amongst them are Trecife, Trevarno, Trengwainton, Bonython and several National Trust properties including St Michael's Mount situated in Marazion.

Galleries
There are several galleries in the vicinity, including The Tate, St. Ives, Barbara Hepworth, St. Ives, Newlyn Gallery, Penzance and Newlyn, Penlee House, Penzance, Dukes Gallery, Newlyn and The Roundhouse, Sennen.

Walks
With the coastal path just outside your front door, you really are spoilt for choice!  And there are many other magical foot paths all over West Penwith.   Too many routes to mention, but www.southwestcoastpath.com may give you a good starting point.

Bird Watching
There are many opportunities around the local lake, owned by Glossop, and  the nearby coastal path.

Surfing and Water Sports
The Cornish coast is renowned for its appeal for surfing, bodyboarding and a range of water sports.  We are told that Sennen Cove, three miles from the farmhouse is a particularly good location for surfing beginners.  For further ideas, see www.cornwalls.co.uk/surfing/
